Yes. The platform complements government integration programmes (Integrationskurs in Germany, OFII in France, SFI in Sweden) by giving you unlimited speaking practice outside class hours. You can rehearse the same topics — housing, healthcare, work, schooling — with an AI partner that never gets impatient.

Comprenders trains the speaking and listening parts of telc, Goethe, ÖSD, DELF and similar exams. You practise interview-style prompts, role-plays and structured monologues with instant feedback on grammar, vocabulary and fluency. We do not issue certificates ourselves — you still book the official exam — but our users typically arrive much better prepared for the oral section.

A work permit usually hinges on either a job offer or a recognised qualification, plus language proof. We focus on the language side: interview practice in the local language, workplace-vocabulary drills, and rehearsing the conversations you will have with the Ausländerbehörde, préfecture or migration office.

In most EU countries, yes — recognised refugees, asylum seekers with good prospects and family-reunification migrants are entitled to subsidised or free integration classes. Yes. Spouses applying for family reunification visas usually need A1 of the destination-country language before arrival. We have dedicated scenarios for the A1 oral test: introducing yourself, asking simple questions, basic everyday topics. You can practise from anywhere in the world, on your phone.

Comprenders does not share user data with immigration authorities. We are a private German company and follow GDPR. You can use a pseudonym and an email-only sign-up; no documents are required to start practising.
