To politely ask a shop assistant for help in Chinese, some common and polite phrases are:

  • 你能帮我一下吗？ (Nǐ néng bāng wǒ yīxià ma?) — Could you help me for a moment?
  • 麻烦你帮我… (Máfan nǐ bāng wǒ…) — May I trouble you to help me…
